Boiler Quality Plate
Boiler Quality (BQ) Plates, also known as pressure vessel plates, are specialized carbon steel plates engineered to withstand intense internal pressure in valves, boilers, and storage tanks. Jitu Milan Steels provides these high-performance plates, which are valued for their exceptional longevity and versatility across various industrial applications. Common uses for BQ steel include steam boilers, pressure vessels, penstock pipes, and LPG bullets.
The most widely utilized standard for these plates is ASTM A516 (or ASME SA516), which is available in four primary grades: Gr55, Gr60, Gr65, and Gr70. These grades offer tensile strengths ranging from 380 MPa to 620 MPa, allowing for precise selection based on structural requirements. Beyond strength, these plates are specifically designed to resist degradation in corrosive environments, helping to mitigate common issues like crevice corrosion, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking.
We deal in all Thickness is from 3mm-150mm as per client's requirements.
