Alloy Steel Plates are specialized steel products defined by having a total alloy content typically ranging from 1.5% to 5%. These added elements fundamentally change the steel’s properties, allowing it to perform reliably in extreme conditions.
Common alloying elements include manganese, silicon, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and vanadium. A single alloy plate can contain varying amounts of several of these elements to achieve specific mechanical and thermal characteristics.
