Chequered Plates

Chequer Plate, frequently referred to as checker plate, diamond plate, or Durbar floor plate, is characterized by a regular pattern of raised projections on one side—such as diamonds or teardrops—while the reverse remains smooth. These plates are primarily manufactured from steel or aluminum and are specifically engineered for high-traction environments. The embossed pattern provides an excellent skid-proof surface, offering superior slip resistance, wearability, and a self-draining design that prevents liquid buildup.

Because of its functional benefits, Jitu Milan Steels supplies chequered plates for a vast range of applications in everyday life and heavy industry. In the engineering and construction sectors, these plates are the standard choice for stair treads, industrial platforms, and safety walkways. They are also integral to the automotive and agricultural industries. Beyond utility, highly polished aluminum variants are often used decoratively, while durable plastic versions are popular as interlocking tile systems for garage floors and fitness centers.
